The Viet Nam Football Federation (VFF) has
encouraged the national football team to win at least the silver medal
at the upcoming Southeast Asian (SEA) Games in Singapore this June.
Viet Nam will not be penalised for withdrawing from hosting the 2019
Asiad Games, Deputy Chairman of the Viet Nam Olympic Committee Hoang
Vinh Giang has confirmed.
Viet Nam will host the 31st SEA Games in 2021 and HCM City is to serve
as the rendezvous point for the regional sports festival, according to
the Viet Nam Olympic Committee.
Twenty-six Vietnamese coaches are taking part in a
training course run by Achim Ecke from the German National Olympic
Committee in a bid to meet international coaching standards.

The organising board of the 27th Southeast Asian
(SEA) Games has approved the inclusion of Viet Nam''s traditional style
of martial arts, Vovinam, on the sports list. The games will be held in
Myanmar next year.

traditional Vietnamese martial art of Vovinam included at the 27th
Southeast Asian (SEA) Games at a two day meeting in Myanmar.
